PK รับหน้าที่ฟรอนท์แมนคนใหม่ให้ Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake ประกาศว่า PK จาก Prompts ได้เข้าร่วมเป็นฟรอนท์แมนคนใหม่ของวงอย่างเป็นทางการ

หลังจาก John อดีตนักร้องนำถอนตัวจากวงเมื่อเดือนมีนาคม 2026 Crystal Lake ยังคงเดินหน้าทำกิจกรรมต่อโดยมี Support Vocalist มาร่วมงานในช่วงที่ผ่านมา

PK เล่าว่า เขาเกิดและเติบโตในประเทศเกาหลีใต้ และ Crystal Lake คือหนึ่งในเหตุผลสำคัญที่ทำให้เขาตัดสินใจเดินทางมายังประเทศญี่ปุ่น เพื่อเล่นดนตรีต่อไป

สำหรับเขา Crystal Lake เป็นวงที่ทั้งรักและเคารพมาตั้งแต่เด็ก

และในฐานะคนที่เติบโตอยู่นอกประเทศญี่ปุ่น PK บอกว่าเขารู้ดีว่า Crystal Lake ไม่ได้มีความหมายเฉพาะกับวงการดนตรีของญี่ปุ่นแต่ยังเป็นวงที่มีความสำคัญต่อวงการดนตรีเอเชียในวงกว้างอีกด้วย

การก้าวเข้ามาเป็นฟรอนต์แมนอย่างเป็นทางการครั้งนี้จึงมาพร้อมทั้งความรับผิดชอบ ความกดดัน และความตั้งใจที่จะเดินหน้าต่อ

PK ยอมรับตรง ๆ ว่า การเข้าร่วมวงที่ตัวเองเคารพมายาวนานทำให้รู้สึกถึงความหนักอึ้งของตำแหน่งนี้ แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน ก็มั่นใจว่าจะสามารถแบกรับน้ำหนักนั้นและเดินต่อไปได้

สิ่งหนึ่งที่ PK ย้ำชัดคือ จะไม่ลืมความเคารพต่อสิ่งที่ Crystal Lake สร้างมาตลอด พร้อมกับนำ “สิ่งที่มีเพียงตัวเองเท่านั้นที่ทำได้” มาสลักลงใน Crystal Lake บทต่อไป

Crystal Lake กำลังเตรียมขึ้นเวทีสำคัญอย่าง TRUE NORTH FESTIVAL 2026 ในวันที่ 22 พฤศจิกายน 2026 ณ Toyosu PIT กรุงโตเกียว ที่เปิดให้จองบัตรในญี่ปุ่นได้แล้วตั้งแต่ 21 สิงหาคม ที่ผ่านมา

PK Officially Joins Crystal Lake as New Frontman

Crystal Lake have officially announced PK of Prompts as their new frontman.

Following the departure of former vocalist John in March 2026, Crystal Lake continued their activities with support vocalists stepping in for the band. Now, PK will take on the role permanently as Crystal Lake move into their next chapter.

For PK, however, joining Crystal Lake means much more than simply stepping into a new band.

Born and raised in South Korea, PK revealed that Crystal Lake were one of the major reasons he decided to move to Japan and continue pursuing music.

The band had been one he loved and respected since he was young.

Having grown up outside Japan himself, PK also understands firsthand that Crystal Lake’s influence extends far beyond the Japanese music scene. To him, the band holds an important place within the wider Asian music scene as well.

That makes becoming their new frontman a role that comes with responsibility, pressure-and determination.

Respecting the Past While Creating What Comes Next

PK openly acknowledged the weight of joining a band he has respected for so many years.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that he is ready to carry that weight and move forward.

One thing he made particularly clear is that he has no intention of forgetting or overlooking everything Crystal Lake have built throughout their history.

Instead, he hopes to respect that foundation while bringing “something that only I can do” into the band’s next chapter.

Crystal Lake Head Toward TRUE NORTH FESTIVAL 2026

With PK officially joining the lineup, Crystal Lake are now preparing for TRUE NORTH FESTIVAL 2026, set to take place on November 22, 2026 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo.

Ticket reservations in Japan opened on August 21.
