The rising HANABIE. have released their latest song, “Inochi mijikashi tai suru otome yo,” which has been chosen as the opening theme for the upcoming anime “Tai ari deshita. - Ojousama wa kakutou game nante shinai -.” The series is set to premiere on July 7 across AT-X, TOKYO MX, MBS, BS NTV, and NBC Nagasaki.

For the band, this project feels personal. HANABIE. shared that the story - set in an all-girls school - resonates with their own experiences, as they also attended a similar environment. Having formed the band during their high school years, they found a strong connection in the idea of dedicating themselves fully to something they love.

They also revealed that the song was shaped by memories from their past, which they revisited during the creative process. Being part of this project holds special meaning for them, especially as longtime fans of anime and games.

“Inochi mijikashi tai suru otome yo” captures a sense of youthful energy, brightness, and intensity - qualities that align naturally with the story of the anime, setting the tone right from the opening scene.
